The World

We here at Aspect Mechatronics now bring you the world. Check out our new product, a 3D laser cut acrylic atlas. There are 8 layers covering from sea level to the top of Mount Everest. The picture above is a display model, so it has many extras in the framing such as the inlayed gears, simulated marble corner covers, even the frame itself, this would look just as good without a frame. The Equirectangular projection that is used here is more realistic than the Mercator projection although it doesn't work as well for a full sized wall.

This model is about 1' (30cm) tall by 2' (60cm) wide and fits nicely on a pair of picture hangers, but it will scale up to 6' (190cm) by 11' (3.3m)

For those of you wondering, Antiquum Novis Orbis Terrarum Omnium is (poor) Latin for Old World, New World, All the World
